Asha Rathina Pandi: I am a Malaysian Indian, currenty pursuing a Ph.D. in Sociology at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. The focus of my dissertation is on ethnic mobilization using blogs. I am particularly interested in studying Malaysian Indian bloggers and blog-readers, and their activities related to HINDRAF and the 2008 Malaysia's general elections.
